Sarah Taylor Studio
About
Sarah Taylor is a Surface Pattern Designer and maker who graduated with a first class honours degree in Surface Pattern Design from Staffordshire University in 2013. With a background in Interior design and styling she decided to open her studio in the Staffordshire Moorlands combining traditional printmaking techniques with contemporary practices such as computer-aided design to create a range of gift and home ware collections.
Sarah's patterns are designed in her studio and printed, as either digital or screen printed lithographs, locally in Stoke on Trent. Sarah then hand applies the designs on to locally sourced fine bone china and then fires them in her studio kiln. Sarah's patterns are also available on melamine coasters and placemats, which are made in Coventry.
The unique home ware collections including Spirograph, pendulum paintings, butterflies and beetles are perfect for modern contemporary living for all occasions and giftware.
You can find Sarah's work on her brand new website and in a number of shops and galleries and she is available for freelance design work, commissions and collaborations within a variety of creative disciplines.
